Mike Vitar | Firefighter
Mike Vitar is a former actor who garnered a degree of relative success during the ‘90s. He kicked off his career at the age of 12 when he was spotted by a casting manager in a school carnival. Soon enough, he would be known for his roles as Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez in The Sandlot and Luis Mendoza in the last two installments of the Mighty Duck films. Throughout the ‘90s, the teen actor also appeared in NYPD Blue, Sunset Grill, Brooklyn Bridge, Chicago Hope, and Diplomatic Immunity.
In 1997, Vitar graduated from St. Francis High School in California. Subsequently, he also decided to retire from acting that same year. He then shifted his, working for Gerber Ambulance as a licensed EMT. Eventually, the former actor moved on to becoming a firefighter. To this day enjoys his career as a firefighter for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
