Melody Anderson | Social Worker
After graduating with a degree in Journalism from the New York University School of Social Work, Melody Anderson briefly became a reporter for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and for a Sydney-based newspaper. Soon after, she dove into the entertainment industry. Some might recognize her as Dale Arden in the ‘80s version of Flash Gordon. However, she also appeared in a long list of films such as Speed Zone, Firewalker, Dead and Buried, and The Boy in Blue. Apart from movies, the former actress also appeared on tons of TV shows like Dallas, TJ Hooker, St. Elsewhere, CHiPs, Battlestar Galactica, and Manimal.
Outside of the limelight, Anderson is a licensed therapist. She serves as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of New York and California. Moreover, she is an international lecturer on addictions and the family and has made several presentations about mental health and substance abuse.
