Lark Voorhies
Born as Lark Holloway, the actress would later adopt “Voorhies” as her screen name. Because of her symmetrical and unique features, she caught many casting agent’s eyes. Lark Voorhies started her acting career at the tender age of two. However, it wasn’t until some years later that she gained more credits for her innate talent. In 1988, the child actress starred in the television series entitled Small Wonder, as well as in Disney’s Good Morning, Miss Bliss. Later on, she started portraying more mature roles and made appearances in shows such as Days of Our Lives and The Bold and the Beautiful. Her continued success led to roles in popular programs such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, In the House, and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air among others.
Despite having thrived in Hollywood, the actress answered another calling: writing. Since her retirement, Voorhies has published three best-selling books.
