One of the most familiar faces during the 1980s, especially in the television drama scene, is Kevin Kennedy who is best known for his role as Curly Watts on ITV’s long-running Coronation Street. He played a character who worked numerous odd jobs—as a paperboy, a dustman, and a grocery assistant manager—just to make ends meet. The actor continued to star in the role up until September 2003. Outside of the silver screen, the actor is part of a band named Bunch of Thieves. They released Bulldog Nation in 2000, which would go on to enter the UK Singles Chart. Kevin Kennedy’s other credits include Spanish Capers, Blue Murder, Doctors, and Rock of Ages among others.
These days, he currently serves as the director of Kennedy Street Recovery Service, which is a social enterprise he founded with his wife.
