10 Short-Lived Summer Romances that Made Heat Waves in Hollywood

A celebrity or two have had a summer fling—and then overshare it with the rest of us. It has a unique degree of connection that blossoms in the summer, and many of them wilt out as October approaches.

Even though it’s just the beginning of 2022, we have already kept an eye on celebrity couples this summer. As the season progresses, more unusual pairings will soon emerge. However, we can’t help but reflect on prior summer celebrity romances that didn’t make it to the finish line.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are picture-perfect together. But we can all agree that Leonardo DiCaprio and Lively’s five-month relationship was unforgettable. They were vacationing across places in 2011. Lively was on her A-game when she went out with DiCaprio. Unfortunately, the relationship faded, and they went on to string their career investments.

With all of the Pete Davidson and Kanye West turmoil, it’s easy to forget about the comedian’s relationship (and engagement) to Ariana Grande.
